Pinstriping Workshop – November 2-3 2019
Pinstriping Workshop (November 2 & 3)
Learn the art of pinstriping from Jeff Williams as he shares his wealth of knowledge acquired over 38 years of working in the trade. This 2-day pinstriping workshop will challenge both the beginner and those wanting to take their skill to the next level. We will cover tools of the trade, materials, supplies and how to assemble a complete striping kit. We will go in depth on the many different brushes available as Jeff demonstrates the multitude of styles each one can create. Plan to paint a design of your choice during open easel time, which features group collaboration, individualized critique and suggestions as you work.
Day 2 of the course will elaborate on more complex designs, traditional striping, scroll work, flames, color theory and pattern incorporation. The remainder of the time will be spent painting your own ideas while receiving additional support and critique from the instructor.
Things to Note:
-All materials, except brushes, are provided (while brushes will be available, we encourage you to bring your own)
-A Mack series #10 blue wrap .00 is recommended
-Please wear clothing you don’t mind getting paint on
